My Career in radio: I got into radio back in 1986 working for WDNE / WVHT under Marja Broadcasting. And just when the folks of the Tygarts Valley thought it was safe to listen to radio again. Like the theme song to the WKRP series, town to town, up and down the dial, I toured the state. I worked for McGuire Broadcasting (that's right Eric's station) broadcasting sports in the Petersburg / Moorefield area. Later, I worked for Burbach Broadcasting in the Parkersburg / Marietta area and then in the Clarksburg / Fairmont area. For a time I was not doing any radio and was an assistant manager for a rent-to-own store for a year and also worked in cellular sales (Can you hear me now?) for 2 years. I got into radio as I was one of the kids that took the transistor radio to bed to listen to Bob Prince and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Sunday afternoon at the area radio station they played old reruns of the "Shadow" radio series which I tuned into as a kid. As the song says, I saw it on the Radio! My joys include hunting and fishing, reclaiming the old family farm, and I am active with the American Brain Tumor Association, as I had surgery to have one of those D---! things removed. Very sincerely, if you can, please donate to the American Brain Tumor Association to help advance research. The E-mail address is: http://www.abta.org/
