About the Show
John Ellison is the host of your Afternoon Drive every weekday on 98.9 WDNE. His unique approach to music stems from a lifelong passion for music. He is a talented musician, playing several instruments from piano to bass guitar, and has performed in various bands throughout the state of West Virginia. He began his radio career in Spencer, WV in 2006, as an on-air personality and News Director, and came to Elkins 2018. He currently is the Operations Manager, Assistant Engineer, and host of the Afternoon Drive, featuring The Drive at 5 with Beanders Restaurant and Tavern, on 98.9 WDNE.
